The reDirect Wood Recycling Recovery Initiative has been designed to service customers who are buying raw and melamine coated particleboard products. Recycling wood products with reDirect Recycling diverts the waste to be re-manufactured and customers will enjoy significant cost savings in landfill charges. The recycled wood products can be used in a variety of applications and one such process is the manufacturing of particleboard which utilises recycled wood and particleboard off cuts into the production of new particleboard.
Office Strip-Outs and Refurbishment Service
reDirect Recycling offer office strip-outs and refurbishment by partnering with local manufacturers and joiners, making it a one-stop-shop for your business’s needs. Office partitioning and benches for refurbishment are manufactured from Melamine faced particleboard in 25 and 33mm thicknesses with a 2mm PVC edge tape, custom manufactured to the customer’s design specification. reDirect Recycling’s wood recycling initiative ensures all wood and timber waste is collected using onsite bins, then recycled and re-manufactured into new products. We offer a closed loop service and efficient resource recovery management of all office strip-outs and refurbishments.
Acceptable Waste
Untreated sawn timber offcuts.
Untreated/Unused hardwood offcuts.
Raw & Melamine coated edged particleboard offcuts (polytec customers only).
Pallets & crates made from sawn timber and/or composite wood components.
Laminated particleboard benchtop offcuts.
End of life pallets and dunnage.
Unacceptable Waste
Strictly no MDF or dust.
Hardboard/Masonite, painted or unpainted.
Wood mixed with rubbish, paper, plastics etc.
Window frames (may contain lead paint or silicone inserts).
Doors.
