St Marys Wood Recycling

reDirect Recycling operates an efficient wood recycling licensed plant at St Marys. The site is modern, clean and has excellent access, 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, conveniently located in the building and infrastructure corridor of western Sydney with easy tipping within a large purpose-built building. The site specialises in the treatment of pallets, mixed clean timber, particleboard, and picked engineered timber offcuts. The reDirect Recycling site at St Mary’s does NOT accept demolition waste.

Acceptable Waste

    Sawn timber offcuts — untreated, clean, or envelope treated (including bluepine softwood).

    Hardwood offcuts — untreated or unused.

    Particleboard offcuts — raw, melamine coated, or laminated benchtop.

    Engineered wood products — glulam, LVL, plywood, formwork, and OSB.

    Pallets & crates — sawn timber, composite wood, heat treated, or MB fumigated.

    End of life pallets, dunnage & light timber blocks (particleboard and EWP).

Unacceptable Waste

    MDF, hardboard & engineered panels — MDF, Masonite/hardboard, painted or unpainted (strictly no MDF dust).

    Contaminated or treated timber — dark timber, diesel/chemical/heavy metal contamination, petroleum odours or visible staining.

    Mouldy or rotting wood — excessively mouldy, rotting, or deteriorated timber of any kind.

    Mixed or unseparated waste — wood mixed with rubbish, paper, or plastics; demolition offcuts not source-separated.
